Lion Rock Background
The mountain call Lion Rock, or less formally Lion Rock Hill, is a mountain in Hong Kong. It is located between Kowloon Tong of Kowloon and Tai Wai of the New Territories, and is 495 metres high. The peak consists of granite covered sparsely by shrubs.
About the route
There are two routes,

First take MIR to Wong Tai Sin, then take a taxi to the foot of Lion Rock (starting point-Lion Rock Park)
2）Take the bus 1, 2B, 7M, 11K, 103, etc.

The starting point of Lion Rock is the Lion Rock Park, where many families have barbecues for family days. Then you can see the appearance of Lion Rock, which is like a lion sitting and resting. The entrance has a clear road sign to begin with.
First we need to climb a flight of stairs, we need to climb up all the time. The paths are all modified, so I can walk more easily. Slowly, I gradually need to pay attention to the road surface, because the farther the path is, it is not complete, such as stone weeds. It is more difficult to walk, I need to find a place to stay.
You will see a small platform on the way. Here you can know that the higher we are. In half the distance is boring , because there is not much scenery to see. Going up the mountain trail, then entering the gentle and downhill section, sometimes seeing a few monkeys playing in the trees, it is very interesting. Next, I went to a kiosk, where there was a public space for everyone to rest. Then I had a clear sign saying that the next 1km left to the top of the mountain, which made me very excited.
At the top of the mountain, this last trip was not a good one, because I started to climb for some simple crossovers. Then, I also saw some climbers fall, so I have to work hard and pay attention to safety. The scenery is really good. In the mountainous area of the city, one side sees the Kowloon area, while the other side sees the New Territories. The beauty of the scenery is very refreshing! In addition to the panoramic view overlooking the Kowloon Peninsula, the other side has a panoramic view of Sha Tin. The downstairs is full of dense buildings. At the foot of the Lion Rock is the spirit of Hong Kong people fighting for their lives. In some places behind, there is no fence .I can see which landmarks Kai Tak Old Airport and Central are of course attractive. The most eye-catching is the Stonecutters Bridge. Whether it is seen from Tsing Yi Mountain or from the Lion Rock, it is so magnificent.
